Before there was a 1Stop Poster Shop, there were two careers and a shared frustration. Our founders had spent a combined 42 years working in commercial print — in prepress houses, in trade shops, in the back rooms of agencies where the press operator never met the client whose poster was on the line. The work was precise. The service, almost without exception, was not.

So in 2017, with a used large-format printer in a 4,000 sq ft bay and a promise to ourselves that every order would get a free human file review, we opened shop. We picked Phoenix because the desert air is kind to ink, the freight lanes run both ways, and it's a six-hour drive to most of our customers in the Southwest.

Eight years later, we're still family-run, still WBENC-certified woman-owned, and still printing every order in the same building. The press operators know the regulars' files. The customer service team has answered the same delivery zip code often enough to recognize the school district. We grew because we stayed small on purpose — small enough that the person who takes your order can walk over to the press and ask the operator to pull a proof.
